I'm a Kiwi who was born in Melbourne, Australia. I moved to Seattle in 2002, where I live with my wife and daughter. I Trained in fine art photography and film but currently work mainly in paint. I drink a lot of coffee, paint, make films and make my girls smile. I am inspired by the stories both inside and outside my head. This current series of work has me exploring house paint, crayons, markers, spray paints and stencils. These mediums and anything else that is close at hand have become close friends of mine in the creation of this series. I enjoy the immediacy of these mediums and the ability to work fast and freely.
